After spending most of the Covid lockdown in 2020 teaching Ted new tricks to pass the time I set up Pet Star Academy Awards UK to allow people to earn certificates and rosettes in recognition of their hard work, bond and commitment with their pets. 

As lockdown lifted the little whirlwind Wally came into our lives. He was also taught some tricks and earnt his 1st title within a week of being home. As he grew it was obvious he needed another “job” on top of this and hitting teenage something safe that he could work and not disappear over the horizon. This is when we discovered mantrailing together. We both became addicted almost instantly and I had soon signed myself to become a Mantrailing UK (now Mantrailing Global) instructor. And after an intense 6 months of shadowing, study and trailing I qualified as an instructor in July 2022. I run the regular mantrailing progression sessions and monthly introduction workshops. These are run in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District.

Likes: Period drama, visiting historic locations and mantrailing.

Dislikes: Fish (to eat) and dishonest people.
