This Foundations Course is your starting point.
It has been designed to give you and your dog a clear, supported introduction to mantrailing, not just a quick try, but a proper understanding of how the sport works and how to progress with confidence.
Unlike many introductory sessions, this is a structured package that takes you step-by-step through the early stages of your mantrailing journey, combining theory, practical learning, and ongoing support.

Your Foundations Course includes everything you need to get started:
Theory Video (sent before your first session)
A clear, easy-to-follow introduction to how mantrailing works and what to expect. Ideal if you like to feel prepared before attending in person.
Practical Session 1: Scent Pairing
Your dog learns to identify and follow a specific person’s scent. This may be delivered 1-to-1 if needed, allowing your dog to learn at their own pace.
Practical Session 2: First Trails
You and your dog begin trailing in real environments, building confidence and understanding as the game comes to life.

This course is run over multiple sessions.
The date shown at booking is for your first practical session.

All training takes place in real-world environments to reflect how dogs naturally use scent.
Once you’ve completed the Foundations Course, you can join ongoing mantrailing sessions with me or any other instructor.
